I want a unit of plastic human swordsmen for the Empire side in the Battle Masters game. Is there anything out there at all which might be suitable?

I have some, but I'm looking for the single pose variety (and cheap).

The game comes with Halberd armed guys as I recall, any way you can cut and re-shape the halberds to look like swords?

A good idea but I'd like to have both.

I have a batch of the halberdiers I'd be willing to sell if you decide to go the conversion route.I might also have a batch of the weapons and warriors halberdiers, but they have more of an english/brettonian look. Unfortunately I can't think of any single-pose plastics that are going to look like Empire troops.

Perry miniatures men-at-arms kit would get you there on a budget, but they're not single-pose either.

Thanks anyway. I always want miniatures I can't have it seems.

The original figures do turn up on ebay quite regularly.

The Advanced Heroquest game had single pose swordsman that were better sculpts than the Battlemasters ones but in the same static pose. Unfortunately I just had a look on Ebay but couldn't find anything. Are you looking for 4 or more?
