Hi, I'm going to have a short break in Siena soon. Is there still a wargame shop there? I am sorted for the historical sites I want to go to but a bit of shopping wouldn't hurt! Also, are there any good book shops which sell history books? I will be going to various places near Siena, but not Florence this time. TIA |

Any time in Italy not spent in Sienna is time wasted. Don't neglect the panforte! |

I picked up a good set of booklets by Roberto Marchionni about the medieval battles between Florence and Siena whilst in Siena. Well illustrated and with English translation in the back.

I have the Marchionni books about Montaperti. Do you remember where you bought yours as he has written about other battles. |
