Last weekend a number of gamers from around New Zealand got together in Christchurch for a refight of the battle of Antietam.

20+ players and thousands of figures.

How difficult was it to keep that many players in sync with the turn phases?

Wow! Judging from the different basing, figure types and flags this must have been the group effort of several gamers. Great pics from what must have been a great event. I'm sure there was quite a battle to see who could occupy the Jim Beam distillery!

Things flowed fairly smoothly with the turns. There was one guy acting as umpire and he kept things ticking along.

Yes, definitely a group effort. Troops from all over the country were transported in along with their owners to play this game. The hotel was kept in Confederate hands for the majority of the weekend!
