I tried out my newly-made paper South American Wars of Liberation paper figures this afternoon, and refought the Battle of Maipo, using my 'Liberated Hordes' HOTT variant.

Thanks for posting this. I've been looking at doing some paper armies but have held off. After reviewing your site and seeing how you worked with them, I think I'll give it a go.

Do you have a link to your "Liberated Hordes" rules?

@vtsaogames – Under 'Variants' on this page – link

That's the currently 'published' version – I am in the process of rewriting it to a V3.0 though. But it'll give you an idea of how the variant works. It assumes that you have, and are familiar with, HOTT v2.0/2.1

Thank you, very interesting. I am considering making an AWI version of DBA 3.0 and your variant looks worth pinching.
