Hi,
Do I need a large tabletop for a Point Blank game?

Not particularly. We have run many Point Blank games on 4'x4' or 6'x4' tables.

What is "Point Blank"? A rules set or a type of game?

Point Blank is a WW2 skirmish set published by Iron Ivan a couple years ago.

Point blank would imply that very little space in required…..

You could use 4x4, but I prefer 4x6 for ground scale and to have some room for lateral movement.
