I read parts of Mark Cornwalls "The Undermining of Austria Hungary", a book that focuses on the propaganda efforts of the Austro-Hungarian and Italian armies. Very fascinating, full of lots of detailed information from primary sources. A tough slog (had to give up on page 230 due to time running out on my loan from the university library), but worth the effort.

Much recommended to anybody who is interested in propaganda, but also the condition of the KuK army. Reinforces the perception that the Central Powers lost the war first in the home-front and then in the field, and that the reversal was rapid and late in the war (until early 1918 the KuK seemed to be doing well, with most of the army excluding Czechs solid if not enthusiastic, in its respective fronts).
