link After 3 decades of wargaming, including enough WWII to make me feel like the 'Rainman of panzers', I'd only heard of these paper panzer from playing World of Tanks. Now you can get a finished kit in 1/72. It's like a golden age for the Weird WWII gamers, there's all sorts of exotic kit being produced. |

I'd love a platoon of VK 36s in 15mm. Just Sayin'. :) |

My wife blames World of Tanks for many, many things. :) |

LOL! I hear ya Bill. This afternoon devolved into…"you're playing that game AGAIN?" |

Had a great day, 16 wins out of 20 games. With all the weekend players, only took me 7 games to max out the damage goal for the day. My wife also thinks WoT is to blame for lots of things (smile). Dan |

I am 61, my brother is 56, we play every Monday night with our 19 year old nephew. Geoff and I hover just a little over 50% win rate. Our nephew is a stone killer at over 56% win rate. He keeps threatening to shoot us in the tracks when we platoon with him because we run out and get killed. :) If you see Wilkes online, give me a holler, that's me. |

Finally forcing myself to take a break from WoT, though I've been trying to do that for months. The steady decline in my Win Rate since Christmas finally got to me (dropped from 52% to close to 51% at the same time every other stat substantially went up). I'm not a tin foil hat conspiracy person but when tanks I used to win with consistently now can't hit the broad side of a TOG, something has changed. That and the forum discussions about how the paper panzers are "historical" (and other topics) drive me nuts. |

The nice thing about WoT compared to other online games, IMHO, is that the games never last more than 15 minutes. I used to play other online games, and missions would take hours, which sometimes didn't work well with home life. :) I can play a few games, log off and not worry about leaving something undone. I admit that after looking at them briefly at the beginning, i have never read any of the forums since. I just don't care enough to get into those discussions. For me, driving around shooting tanks is about all I expect out of the game, and it delivers that quite nicely. |

I know all the criticisms of WoT, but it is a game. However its made me realise how easy it is to lose an enemy in a fold in the ground- something you don't see on the table. |

Oh it's definitely a fun little game. If I never see another M8A1 again, it'll be too soon. |

Not enough Italian tanks in WoT! |

There are loads- you just don't see them after the first 30 seconds! |
