Alien Dungeon put on a huge All Quiet on the Martian Front game at Historicon today-twice!

I should add that even with all these miniature and 20 novice players, the game went very smoothly and saw lots of action!

That looks great. Living in California, I've only been to Historicon once/2012, but it was a great experience.

20-foot long table!!!

The last picture will drive the "hub-to-hub-tanks" haters nuts. grin

It was awesome! Hey, it's WWI era so hub-to-hub isn't that bad. My Tennessee Rebs really kicked some Yankee… Ah Martian… butt! Too bad it was my son, Brandon, who took the worse from my blistering fire! LOL!

Hey John, what side did you play? What time?

Tgunner19 Jul 2014 8:23 a.m. PST

Some great pictures with my son. He's in the blue striped shirt! Looks a bit worried! I would too if I had an ironclad running me down! Those grey tanks are my command btw.

Played the Sat night game, I too was the TN militia and while we got slaughtered, we piled up Martians like cordwood.

Looks great. I plan on running several games at Little Wars in April. All based on the battles for Chicago. My thoughts right now are to have three games. Friday night would be The Sable Foxes providing support to US Forces (ILNG 33rd Inf Div) outside of Waukegan in their attempts to break contact and fall back. The 2nd battle would be BEF/US forces form a defense line along Half Day Road. The third battle could be battle for Chicago, and include the landbattleship.
Eventually I am looking to build a model of Wrigley Field and the EL tracks behind it as part of the Chicago Defensive line.
Would love to have them come as a vendor for LittleWars
