Thank god I thought it was just me..Happened late last nite..Still do not have yet today

nnascati Supporting Member of TMP18 Jul 2014 12:42 p.m. PST

Second time in the last few weeks. I really need LAF!

Travellera18 Jul 2014 12:59 p.m. PST

Yes, it is really addictive!

Valerik18 Jul 2014 1:56 p.m. PST

So there are others out there gibbering and trembling from withdrawal?

Last time I was certain I'd personally offended the Teutonic overseers somehow.

Not having voiced any more than usually smart alec comments lately I judge it to be a collective punishment.

So, EVERYONE ELSE, S T O P breaking LAF.

It is incredibly annoying to those of us who are adult enough to control our access, frequency & duration there.

You KNOW who you are.

Honestly I can live without some websites, but not LAF.

Valerik18 Jul 2014 3:07 p.m. PST

You've got it bad Nick!!

Burn your brushes

Give your vehicles to the neighborhood kids to play with

Send your lead to me, for proper disposal of course

I just tried again, why can my Teutonic cousins not get this fixed, wait maybe it's a World cup hangover ,and a stein full of Berliner Kindl came crashing down on a computer keyboard, and jetzt ist alles KAPUT!….just a theory.

Valerik, not that LAF has to be down for this to happen. But just give nnascati a couple of more days. Sure there will be another topic he will give up and sell cause he doesn't want to do it. :-)

And yes, LAF has been down since yesterday evening. Shame to. Would like to get some of the topics read before heading to Historicon. Sure the Prof is setting things right.

Grimmnar, ???? Do I know you?

Grimmnar18 Jul 2014 5:57 p.m. PST

LOL no man not personally. But we both frequent LAF as well as here. Been more times than i can count when you have done just what i describe above. :-)

I play mostly solo, as most folks know, therefore my staying power tends to be weak unless I really like something.

Valerik18 Jul 2014 8:03 p.m. PST

Too true Nick, too true!!

When you play as we do it pays to not bore, or urinate off, your regular opponent!!

In the absence of LAF I AM getting some painting done, as well as some jungle scenery started.

My preferred forum and more European.

I'm starting to feel withdrawal symptoms….

Valerik19 Jul 2014 4:56 a.m. PST

This just in:

Web service provider has technical issues again so unfortunately there is nothing we can do.

Said announcement was pointed out to me in a vain attempt to hush my whining.

What good is Facebook if it can't step up inna crisis & host multiple fora serving an international public need?

'same' trouble/villain(s)/culprit(s) as earlier in the month, though a much longer outage this time.

Not sure whether this calls for an intervention, a surgical strike, a frontal assault, or simply patience.

Sure hope it's not the latter, such a rare, & expensive, commodity these days.

Either way, The Law of the Internet demands we gripe about it & threaten the innocent along with the guilty.

You do have a point there V. I am getting a lot of painting done with LAF being down.

Skeptic19 Jul 2014 5:34 a.m. PST

argsilverson19 Jul 2014 11:24 a.m. PST

I started having issues late Thursday; I really do have the shakes.

Wild about the power house that is TMP, I regularly trod various Yahoo! groups, but LAF has a certain elegance that leaves me lessened without.

Oh, Alex!

Funny, I didn't notice.

But I don't miss TMP when it has been down either.

Yes, I really do have a real life…

Both have their value but I need more time to prep and paint…
