I am not sold on the Violet brown German dark green or the Cruiser green as suggested by FOW for early WWII British tanks. What Vallejo paints do you use for Early War tank regiments?

Bronze Green 897

Brown Violet is usually used for late war lend lease stuff.

After much trouble finding any sort of match I've ended up using Reflective green for G3 Khaki Green, German camouflage dark green for G4 Dark Green and a mix of 2 x Russian uniform: 1 x Lime green for G5 Light Green.

Near enough is good enough, especially after a bit of weathering.

Brown Violet is Vallejo's version of WW2 US OD. As such it's good for lendlease Shermans for Italy and NWE. The British also produced their own color (I forget the actual name) that was a pretty good match for US OD, especially after it had weathered a little. Earlier war green was, as has been pointed out "bronze green" officially. Tanks in the desert are a little more complicated.

The British equivalent of OD had the unimaginative title of SCC15…..
