Very nice army,you painted!

Nice paintjob, but what figures are these? I have a Marian Roman DBA army I'm nearly done with (using Essex figures), and have a Gallic army waiting for the paint table…

Damon.

Look like Essex 15mms to me.

Thanks guys. I was a little worried when I started, but these came together nicely.

There is a gentleman at the Recruits convention that puts together armies and sells them as army packs. I don't know who manufactured these models. There may be a couple of different companies represented. Sorry I can't be more specific.

The Elephant,Cavalry and skirmishers on the right of photo are 15mm Essex, the Pikes and skirmishers on the left of photo look like Freikorp figures…..anyway…great looking army..well done sir!

Skirmishers, cavalry and elephant are indeed Essex. The 4Ax has all the figures the same and molded spear. So probably not Freikorps. I suspect possibly Minifigs.

The pike are curious. The shields are completely flat which tells me they are something a little older. Scruby possibly?

All that said, very nice paint jobs. May they win many battles for you on the tabletop!

I believe the pikemen are Viking Forge. link

Still don't know about the spearmen with the crescent shields.

Having a small unpainted mountain of these, I can say some of the pikemen are He 09 & He 30 from Black Hats 15mm Hellenistics (formerly Gladiator) line.
