Did Austrian jaegers fight as regular infantry battalions in 1809 or did they fight as skirmishers?

When they fought as regular infantry did the jaegers form up two or three-deep?

Three deep line was doctrine but the third rank was rifle armed and would normally be deployed as skirmishers – so again, both!
