Did Austrian jaegers fight as regular infantry battalions in 1809 or did they fight as skirmishers? |

When they fought as regular infantry did the jaegers form up two or three-deep? |

Three deep line was doctrine but the third rank was rifle armed and would normally be deployed as skirmishers – so again, both! |
