As you may have heard, Manila (capital of the Philippines) was hit by a hurricane yesterday and today. link

We have not been able to make contact with two of our staff in the Manila area, Editor Hebber and Editor Gwen, but we hope this is only due to black-outs or lines being down.

The other editors are fine.

Prayers that everyone stays safe.

Oof, hurricanes are no fun. Especially the cleanup afterwards. I'll be praying for their safety.

I agree!

I hope that everyone is safe and well too. My thoughts and prayers are to this effect.

Editor Hebber is fine, and has power at her home once again.

Editor Gwen is temporarily homeless, as her apartment's roof was "destroyed" by the storm. She is staying with friends.

Glad to hear they're safe. I need to get in contact with my relatives there too.
