A slight different Gruntz Game coming up.

Here is my 150 point "army". It's going to be a squad vs squad on a 2'x2' table. Each trooper is a "Gruntz Specialist" and will operate independently.

The Sniper Team card will be one sniper.

You did say cool fool. I say COOOL! These are the ones that swoop in rippin' bass with 1600W per channel out of those huge speakers!

Opponent?

Very cool setup and idea. Make sure to give a BatRep so we can see how the specialist/skirmish works out.

My buddy has some Rusk Painted up so he'll probably use those. Not sure on what vehicle he's going to use. I will probably suggest he takes at least a vehicle or VTOL.

It looks really, as was said above, cool!

What is the mission/scenario/objective?

What is the mission/scenario/objective?

Not sure yet!

Probably get/capture a VIP? Extract a hostage? Something like that anyways.

Maybe they have to hack a console and then get to a drop pod, extract the VIP and then escape to an extraction zone.

I find it hard to believe they have any chance verses my Comrade a RUSK forces……

:)

Will they fight against regular squads or other specialists? This ia a very clever and fun idea.

I'm very interested to see how this works out as well! I like the idea of using GRUNTZ in this way..as a man-to-man skirmish game.

interesting idea… the universe/campiagn a buddy and I have been messing around with entails a lot of hacking ('slicing,' a la Star Wars) so we've slightly changed the nature of the demolition scenario in Gruntz to represent that… but this idea seems more workable for those missions. Interested to see how it goes.

I've been doing something similar for my 6mm Votoms solo games. I built all of my Votoms as vehicle specialists as I felt it came closer to how they were presented in the series.
I'll be keeping an eye on this.

I recently did the same for a 28MM version of Gruntz , I ran it as a Shadowrun tabletop , using the neural net rules for a magical attack , and extra perkz bought as differnt spells or cyberware (just give them a different description).

Worked out quite well.

May I ask , your buildings and the white base boards , where are they from ?

Regards
