"Canada" Yep. It was the Arctic voyage of the CCGS Louis S. St-Laurent, in July 1983, which retrieved it. link (I spent 32 years in the Canadian Coast Guard, 10 of which were in the Fleet. I remember this voyage. I wasn't on her at the time, but knew the officers etc) |

My friend Dan does a game featuring one of those. Greenland coast watchers and Innuit hunters trying to take it out. Random visibility based on snow squalls and maybe the odd polar bear. He's got a trawler stuck in ice too. |
