However a number of companies make model kits of this unique biplane fighter.
They are probably far more successful than the real thing.

How would you jettison the upper wing without the risk of hitting the tail assembly (or other parts of the plane)?

Seems like it would be useful for using on small carriers or CAM ships where extra lift was needed.

The lift created by the upper wing would carry it up and away from the aircraft at the moment of release…
