I have a bag of OG 25mm Sarmatian Infantry. Definitely supposed to be dark age. Mostly bareheaded, oval shield, and boots. Fairly generic,I thought with a shield swap they might work in a Pontic army or perhaps as Byzantine auxiliary. Any suggestions? |

Just looked at them. You can use them as Southern Slavs, definitely. Bulgarians, early Russians and Serbians. |

Why would they need a shield swap? They are the same indigenous troops just different time |
