Another question/request for info. I've seen a number of images of converted chariots incorporating the new large size boars for the Boar Riders box set. For those who've done this a couple of questions. 1.The axle. Does it need much alteration or do they fit under the existing yolk ok. The actual boars with the set a much smaller. 2. A lot of the converted models appear to have had the chariot body widened is this something that naturally happens. 3. If I do go ahead with building/altering the chariot, these will be crewed by Savage Orcs. Do all the crew heads have helmets. |

isn't it a fantasy game? Do whatever you like! |

If the chariot is too narrow for the new boars, then the laws of physics will prevent him from doing whatever he likes, regardless of the fantasy setting (unless he figures out how to widen the chariot). |

Thank you Ivan. Altering the chariot as nothing o do with it being fantasy. Its the construction and the possible changes using the newer larger boars as the draft animals. |

I customized a couple of Beastmen Tuskgor chariots into Razorgor chariots which required some extensive tweaking of the yoke to accommodate the far bulkier Razorgor model, but in this case the chariot is still an older metal model and thus it just needed a fair amount of time with the pliers to bend it into shape. With a plastic chariot I imagine this would be harder to pull off. Regarding the savage orc crew, doesn't the savage ork boxed set come with a bunch of extra heads? |
