It was a short 2-hr session, just some house-cleaning, so to speak.

Well, I made my case against allowing/keeping/using an army of 2,400 Bloody Skeletons (undead) in our expedition, and it was apparently well-presented enough that the group who previously was inclined to leave in utter disgust decided instead to stay.

Being surrounded by mainly LE and a scattering of LN NPC's, I played up the risk this represented to the established social order, that this was a risk to stability and adds the potential of unrest, riots or even revolt by the lowfolk, that we are doing fine without them and they are not needed.

I spoke my peace, and said I would abide by whatever decision was reached and not bring it up again. BUT that I wanted no part personally in the use or employment of the undead, and if they were to be sent out on jobs/missions, it would be by others, and not with my vote/input.

I was voted down – most of the NPC's really did not care for any concerns about the lowfolk and were patently arrogant enough (DM's own words) to believe whatever the lowfolk did could be quelled handily.

Because the case I made had to do with social stability and consideration of the innocent (lowfolk), the group of Abadar Paladins that had previously gotten up to leave the tbale in disgust instead decided to stay to "ensure" that the undead would be handled in a safe manner, not threatening the lowfolk Korvosan citizens in the expedition (engineers, skilled and unskilled laborers and guards.)

At least your Dm gave you that much. After those 2 first posts I thought he was gonna shut you down completely.
