Does anyone remember Bellona? I had a wonderful stone bridge, in brittle injected plastic, that carried many an Airfix Hussar to his doom.

Good grief… Those old Bellona pieces bring back memories. Had a bunch of the stuff. Long gone, now.

I had several of the Bellona pieces: walls, bridges (single and 3 pan), and the revetted earthworks. I used them as molds for plaster powder and was able to make several nice plaster pieces. I also filled a few with expandable foam which worked to keep the brittle plastic from falling apart and to give them more weight and solidity. Still have them and use the walls frequently when I use by 25 mm ACW or AWI figures.

Fascinating and what a great link that is to vintage kit…I will revisit that +++. Nostalgia is not what it used to be though….in my day we would have killed for……….
