Chicago Skirmish Wargames club got our hands on a draft of the Song of Hammer & Forge rules and we set up a playtest game last week. We tried out various weapon rules, including the forthcoming black powder firearms rules, as well as a few other tidbits from the dwarf book. I think most fantasy dwarf fans will really enjoy this book! It's full of flavor and fun. Here's the full battle report: link And a couple pictures from the game:

Yes: Drunkard, Sloshed, Tipsy and Intoxicated. Take your pick! All have slightly different game effects. |
