I was introduced to Infinity last weekend and I have to say I really enjoyed the game. I was wondering if anyone has used it for the Star Wars universe. My Google-fu is not turning up anything. Any links to websites, forums or blogs with conversion and stat ideas would be appreciated. Rod |

Funny you should mention that. Josh is a huge Star Wars fan. He can tell me stuff about Star Wars for hours and hours and hours and while I was a big star wars fan in my youth, most of this stuff I've never heard of. Glad you enjoyed the game. For stats you could go with a relatively normal stat line for stormtroopers and rebel soldiers, say Pan oceana fusiliers for the Stormtroopers and Ariadna kazaks for the rebels. Other stuff you can probably find analogous things in the rule books or army lists and tweak them slightly to get what you want. There are even light sabers in the game, although they call them monofilament close combat weapons. |

Suggestions for skills for "jedi": Superjump. Sixth sense. Martial Arts. CC with two weapons (for some – you can combine the effects of two different cc weapons – like explosive and mono – for THREE saves at 13+ or die, or DA/mono – 2 saves, etc. Double mono has no extra effect) Stormtroopers/rebels the PanO/Ariadna thing can work. I'd be using stormies as Medium Infantry (MI – like the new "bolts" over LI. This leaves scouts as either skirmishers (SK) or LI. |

Close combat is not particularly good in Infinity, though with the third edition of the rules coming soon (probably a Gencon release) that may change. Otherwise, I agree with Pictors. Just look through the various lists and see what models sound most like Rebels, Stormtroopers, or Clone troopers. |
