Latest 6mm WWII game played at Gigabites Cafe.
It was a June, 1941 scenario involving counterattacking KVs from the 3rd Mech Corp and the little Cech Pz35ts of the 6 Pz Dv

A good day to crush the Facsist invaders. And a futile attempt to explain to some gamers why having artillery on the table means bad stuff is happening.

Beautiful Terrain and minis. Just getting into MicroArmor but for moderns.

Such nice terrain. Can you describe how you did it?

Microbiggie09 Jul 2014 6:21 p.m. PST

Old dyed bed sheet on Styrofoam shapes. Fields are various fabrics painted crop colors. Then I use chalk pastels for roads and highlighting slopes, etc.

Lovely looking game, and using the terrain method with which I'm currently experimenting to excellent effect, too! Thanks for sharing!

FANTASTIC GAME! WOW! Well done.

one option I have been considering is 'puff' paints for fabric – applied in tubes, then heated with a hair dryer – puffs up – excellent for crops etc.

Holy cow, that's amazing!

Yes, a really fine looking game. Interesting that you use chalk pastels for roads and "highlighting slopes". There is an artist at work here!

Very nice terrain and models. Are those Minifigs 12mm vehicles?

Microbiggie12 Jul 2014 1:34 p.m. PST

Vehicles are a combination of GHQ and CinC mainly. 6mm=1/285 to 1/300. Figures are Adler.
Thanks
