I've always liked these models. They are part of my list of lines that I wish I could use them in something without starting a new project.

They ummm… remind me of another army ummm…

I'm guessing these are 28mm? <sigh>

If you are into pulp era gaming I can think of a few ways that they can be used. Most obviously as an invasion force against any sort of soldiers or civilians. The figures are "science fantasy", so have them ally with gangsters as in the Rebublic serials "The Purple Monster Strikes" and "Flying Disc Man From Mars". They can be a team in a "Pulp Alley" game too.

Yup. We've seen these minis before. In fact, quite a few times. But I like to see different paint scheme ideas for them, and these are very well done. They aren't my favorites though. So far I like this scheme best:

Those awesome Valkeeri are painted by a nice chap who goes by the moniker of Michi over on LAF and the Guild. The link in Tango's post is to Michi's personal site that is chok full of 28mm gaming eye candy. If you're not familiar with his work, treat yourself and take a gander.

I like the color choice. And the sculpting looks good.
