Here's an AAR from a recent playtest of the Sabresquadron rules for company level actions from the Cold War to the Digital Age.

Are command units only represented at the company level? or are there platoon level command units as well?

There will be 2 versions of the rules. An introductory set will be issued soon which will cover the main elements of infantry, armour (including ATGMs) and artillery. This will introduce the basic concepts and allow a wide variety of games to be played. The main rules, planned for release next spring, will be comprehensive including air support, helicopters, urban warfare, electronics and engineering.
Platoon commanders are not covered in the introductory rules but will have a role in the main rules which incorporate a number of other command and control points.
We have a newsletter for announcing progress.

Looks like a cool game. Always happy to see new post-Vietnam games.
