For the last six months I've been working on my 28mm Pulp Egyptian archeological dig collection. This is the first time I've had to use two 5 ft. x 7 ft. tables in order to include everything the way I wanted it. One of the tables is a "modern"/Pulp-era Egyptian town and the second table is the archeological dig which includes a large temple complex, two pyramids and the archeologists' camp. Below you will find a few pictures from the gallery. If you enjoy them, I hope you will take a look at the entire gallery (it is large) which you can find at link [URL=http://s1082.photobucket.com/user/rgarretson/media/006_zpsa0007507.jpg.html]

Thanks for the kind words. Really glad you are enjoying it. Doug, there is a lengthy write-up on what went into the making of it just to the write of the photo gallery on my website. Hope that helps. Thanks again for taking the time to write. Richard

Probably THE BEST immersive scenery I've seen in my entire life!

You should be really PROUD of what you have accomplished, and I'm green with envy.

Bookmarked for inspiration.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks you all for the very generous comments. I had a great time putting this crazy little world together, and its wonderful to know that others enjoy it too. Richard

Wow! Absolutely brilliant! What rules set do you use? And those scarabs are amazing – are they custom made? If not, please let me know who makes them!

War In 15MM08 Jul 2014 12:43 p.m. PST

Thank you for the kinds words. Ivor, the scarab beetle swarms are by Reaper and are in both their Dark Heaven Legends and Bones lines. In terms of what rules sets I use, I'm afraid I'll going to be a big disappointment to you there because odd as it may seem, I don't game. Thanks for taking the time to write.

Thank you for taking the time to write and for the wonderful comments. The opportunity to share this gallery with TMP members and viewers really means a great deal to me on a number of levels… obviously your very generous comments please my vanity tremendously, but I also really like the fact that sites such as this allow us to share what we have done. I openly admit to using ideas I have seen on TMP all the time when I am putting my collections together and for that I thank all of you. Really glad you enjoyed the dig. Richard

Wow again, I will have to steal some ideas to add to my collection just when I thought I'd almost finished it.

chuck05 Fezian08 Jul 2014 7:20 p.m. PST

Really wonderful work. I had a bid in on EBAY for the playset you used but someone on LAF had the same idea and bid more than I was willing to spend.

Magnificent! I hope you get at least as much fun out of using it as you did of collecting and creating it all!

Awesome
Might as well pack up and go home'

War In 15MM09 Jul 2014 7:33 a.m. PST

My thanks again to all of you for taking the time to write and for the overwhelming comments. My head swells with the pleasure of knowing you really like what I have done. Eric, don't you dare pack up and go home unless that means you are heading for the shed to make more magic of your own… magic we all enjoy and draw inspiration from. As I said in an earlier note, I admit that when I post a gallery such as the Little Big Horn or Pirates or the Victorians or the Pulp Egyptian dig, vanity is involved, but it is also payback for all the ideas and inspiration I have drawn from looking at the work of others. I come to this site everyday, and I don't do it to kill time; I do it to draw inspiration from the work you have done… I love this stuff. Richard
