I finished painting up this lovely set from Eureka yesterday. They'll be adding some flavour to my mob wars project.

I've got a few more "specials" to paint up in between batches of civvies, lawmen and mobsters.

Very nice. I especially like the finish to the piano and double bass.

Eureka certainly offers a wide and eclectic range of figures!

Now all you need is one of those New Orleans-style funeral procession bands. Wouldn't they look grand in a mob-wars scenario leading the procession for a fallen gangland kingpin?

Those are great! I imagine they were lots of fun to paint. You will have a very rich game I think.

Very nice! I like the look of your gangsters as well.

THANKS for sharing.

They look great, I have the same set awaiting for me to find time to paint them.

Looking sharp! I need to get mine painted.

@ dBerczerk – a New Orleans style funeral procession? Oh dear, that's giving me ideas. Maybe I should do one of my Sarissa buildings as a "Filet de Soul" restaurant. Any idea where I could get a Baron Samedi figure?

@ Texas Jack – they were definitely fun to paint. As have been all the figures so far for this project.

@ Dave – thank you grin

@ DA THB – they don't take much time to actually paint. I think I spent more time trying to decide on the colours for the band uniform!

@ Sergeant Paper – cheers!

Very nice work dude. If the one thing I like to see is ethnic diversity in the painting of our minis.

TamsinP -- you may have to scratch-build one. Although it is somewhat surprising no one has yet produced a Baron Samedi figure in 28mm.

The talk about a funeral procession leads me to ask, does anyone make a funeral grouping for a cemetery in 28mm? Richard

I love the drummer

I think mine are going to be painted like Louis Armstrong's band from High Society…
