Was wondering when those were going to show up! I really just want one of them, but I think I will get a full sprue to make Alphonse Elric in 28mm
Possible Chig standins? No, the armor is waaaaay too bulky. If you could get the heads separately and put them on the standard Eisenkern trooper body they'd be closer to Chigs. |

I agree. While I think these are nice expansions to the line, I'd also like to see a little less sci-fantasy. Maybe Dreamforge can come out with a less knightly version of these
well I guess the fact that the tabards are separate pieces means I can build mine without them. |

These are I believe the 'Knightly Order' types, there were renders of the other type which matched up with the stormtroopers. Edit: link

really !! Yeah, but it gets him GW-like $$ for stuff that's less GW-like. |

The Dreamforge stuff is way cheaper compared to the GW equivalent stuff. $22 USD vs $29 USD for 10 troops (especially good pricing if your using them as stormtroopers instead of IG). It's certainly grimdark, just a whole lot less ghotic. I'm especially happy with the options, you can for the drag queen space knight look (aka. as power infantry in night gown ;-) or the whole though sci-fi German heavy trooper look. |
