Just wondering if anyone makes infantry bases that are basically an overhead view of the infantry rather than individual sculpts. Something like a 20mm round base. This would be for 6mm gaming action. |

Main Force miniatures do modern infantry like that. I am sure you could paint them up to match your scifi army. |

I have two different factions from Main Force Miniatures (modern US Marines and Afghan insurgents). I liked the fact that they were prone, which is a nice change from the usual and also prevents breakage. They painted up fairly easily, too. link They are available singly or in "company bags", which are a pretty darn good deal for the number of stands you get, and you get a decent mix of support types in with the riflemen (snipers, antitank, mortars, and so forth). You won't find power armor or anything since they only cover WWII through modern, but for basic infantry, it's hard to beat MFM's quality and selection. |
