I have today received a charming letter from The Editor in which he offers his heartfelt thanks to me for my contribution to the Stifle (table) debate. He points out that in my last 10 posts on the subject that each post has received an average of 1,200 views, which he says increases his potential to make more money from TMP. HE offered me a year of free TMP subscription, which I naturally declined. To all the Stifle contributors, simply, the subject clearly is popular and pays. He did also tell me to desist now. |

How does it pay? Its the same few dozen people each time. So yes its great for burning up advertisers paid impressions but nor great for advertisers. |

For what it's worth, I didn't believe him. I hope that admission won't earn me a DH! I have stuff to sell! |

I complained about them in another persona and he offered to sell me his car for a dollar. Though considering Bill's recent post about car repairs, maybe it's good I let him keep it? The above is a joke btw. GuF |

E.E.O.R.T. Expired Equine Operational Response Techniques If you don't understand this theory, you haven't lived long enough. The tribal wisdom of the Dakota Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that, "When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount." However, in government, industry, business, and education more advanced strategies are often employed, such as: 1. Buying a stronger whip. 2. Changing riders. 3. Appointing a committee to study the horse. 4. Arranging to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses. 5. Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included. 6. Reclassifying the dead horse as living-impaired. 7. Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse. 8. Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed. 9. Providing additional funding and/or training to increase dead horse's performance. 10. Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horse's performance. 11. Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses. 12. Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses. And of course
. 13 Promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position. |

14. Penalize those with a live horse for unfair competition. 14a. Require those with a live horse to undergo sensitivity training. 15. Fund global studies to determine the cause of departed horses. |

So much grey
Maybe, although that is not important. But with over 1,000 views already The Editor is laughing all the way to the bank. And that is important. But I'm not in it for the money, money, money
