I wrote earlier how much I liked Irregular Miniatures Indian Mutiny range. I've now had the chance to paint some of them and you can see them them at Irregular below. irregularminiatures.co.uk I was particularly pleased with the sculpting on the cavalry Ian Kay can certainly do a pugaree. Anyhow hope you like 'em. |

Great work, John! How do the Irregular size up with the Dixon range? |

The infantry are fine together and Irregular cavalry are fine with Dixon infantry too. I don't have any Dixon cavalry so can't comment on that but presumably they would fit as well. I'm not John btw though I'll answer to it! I also bought some Irregular Ghurkas and British Sikhs both are fine figures with variants, heads for the Sikhs and standing and kneeling for the Ghurkas. They also fit quite well with my QRF Sikh Wars stuff and that will enable me to do bigger battles. All in all I'm very pleased with what I got. I managed a game over the weekend using Piquet Field of Battle and it was pretty good. I can see myself doing a lot more Indian Mutiny stuff in the future. |

Would you happen to have any closer up pics than the ones on the irregular site? It's great to see more Mutiny minis coming out though. It's been a much overlooked period. |

Thank you, good pics! Prompted me to get the first 2 factions for my "not in her majesties name" in 15mm. The Royal Singapore Police with their intrepid inspector and his chum, Gurkhas, maxim gun, vs the infamous Chu family. Total £12.00 GBP 4 boats from The Scene in his sale, total £20.00 GBP |

Just painted some of Irregulars Civilian Insurgents as the Wahabi Ghazi of Delhi. Green turbans and light blue shirts, I used the female comander figure to represent the armed women who encouraged them. I'm pleased with how they look. I'll get the camera out sometime this week. |
