I have a problem with certain laser-cut terrain, in that the walls are completely undetailed. This applies to Western etc. settings too, but at the moment I am most concerned with such ranges as the 28mm spaceship interiors from Gamecraft and the System Infinity items from Sarissa. I would like some sci-fi wallpapering textures such as those from certain papercraft companies but none of them fit – I can cut some flooring to fit in the case of the spaceship interiors (the problem is mostly the walls on 4.5-inch sections) but maybe not the Infinity buildings. The latter even have doors, windows and interior partition walls with no detail inside at all. Ideas? Remember I'm not really up to matching the shapes of the Sarissa doors and windows in Gimp. |

Do you need to match up the shapes? Could you just glue the wall paper on the inside and cut the shapes out with a hobby knife? You might try an image search something like this to find suitable textures: link |

So, all your are looking for are sci-fi wall textures? |

You could consider using some of the embossed floor tile sheets produced for dollhouses. There are a variety of hexagon and octogon/square sheets out there. If you find some with 1/4" tiles, that would not look monstrously out of place in a 28mm corridor system. link |

Gimp might be a bit of overkill
there are easier ways to scale to fit. That said, have you considered contacting the manufacturers and seeing if they might be amenable to bringing on a graphic artist to produce free or cheap .pdfs that fit their pieces? Since these are already laid out in a CAD file, that gives the artist a leg up in the beginning. It is also a decent business idea for the manufacturers as: (1) with an additional .pdf, you can breathe new life (sales) into an existing line and (2) it will help your products look nicer on people's tables (where did you get that?). |

dp9.com/downloads Go to Heavy Gear Arena, and check the three files named "texture" No idea if it's quite what you want, but it's SF interior and exterior wallpapers to me. |
