Hi all Last months update TMP link Well June has been and gone and forward progress of a sort has been made….. I had a week's holiday which I spent in France going round all the D-day sites and was very priviledged to meet and speak to veterans at Pegasus Bridge. The other 3 weeks were spent tidying the house/garden so not much painting time despite the early exit of England from the world cup. Bought 28mm – 14 (WWII vehicles and some fantasy figs) Painted 28mm – 19 (Fantasy figs and AWI) Monthly profit = +5 Yearly total – -85 Ready Locker – 2113 (target is 1519 by DEC 31st) So I was only 95 figures short of my monthly goal DOH….Oh well at least the maths are easy from now onwards – Paint 99 figs a month…… Plan 1) FOCUS!!!!! 99 figs this month 2) Behave at the baccus open day this month Have fun :-)

No painting done in June. But managed to acquire 12 pre columbian native americans. this puts me at a -45 for the year.

I've painted or got rid of 115 figures…. but bought 140. So some way down. My shopping is normally less in the second half of the year though!

Not a bad month… Purchased: 0 Finished: 49- 28mm archers (Babylonians, Chaldeans, Assyrians) 48- 28mm spearmen (Assyrians and Bablyonians) So, the pile is -97. Sigh, of course Historicon is coming up….

I have painted 727 28mm Napoleonics + 26 wagons + 28 cannons so far this year. I am happy with this considering I thought I hadn't done much painting for myself.

I know we all have the same basic goal but different levels of commitment and time. Here's a person who I admire for his organization and quanity of painting. It's a great blog to follow. link

Okay so due to an EF1 tornado, and three work trips to Ohio, and saying goodbye to a friend of mine, I didn't get as much painting done as I wanted…. So… Painted this month: 10 Bought this month: 0 Painted: 7 Pulp Figures (5 US Sailers, 1 character fig, and Boss McCoy)… 3 28mm Bookcases This brings me up to to total tally: Painted YTD: +146 Bought YTD: -52 (Still waiting on the rest of my FoW Vietnam order from April)…. Total+ +94 Total Unpainted 25/28mm: 872 Total Unpainted 15mm: Thousands Plans for this weekend…. I am on call this weekend so it's PAINTING TIME!!!! 1: Plan to paint… 2: Actually paint…. 3: Paint some more… 4: Have a good cry because I have to paint so much… Yeah…sounds like a plan….
