Well done!

Looks really neat. I wonder if it could be done faster (maybe cheaper) just painting over a big map?

That's pretty cool (and a lot of work).

You'd have to be madly keen on Risk….but it's cool!

Twoball Cane03 Jul 2014 7:35 p.m. PST

Amazing!

It would bother me forever that I didn't paint it blue before painting on the countries.

Still, very cool. It's something I would really enjoy doing. Probably more fun to do it, that to actually play it. Some things are like that.

I have ordered a set for each of my two sons, and one for me.

You should see the box it comes in.

As a project, thats really something, very cool.

On a personal note:
*Oldhans.. your either totally crazy about Risk, or just one hell'of a great dad, or both. (smiling)
I dont know how long your kids will want to play board games, but they will never forget that you took the time to do that For and With them. (My hat is off).

Personally I would have gone for a 2x4 or 3x6 ft max. (thats just me) I 'did' an all blue 4x8 board long ago for naval. Yes, storage is 'the' issue. lol
