I enjoyed the review. Based on it, I will have to get the game. I have played regular Saga a few times but the Crusades are really my era. I already have a considerable amount of early 13th century Spanish painted. "In Spain, we are always on Crusade!" |

The factions are: Crusaders
Saracens
Milites Christi
Mutatawwi
Spanish
Moors I wonder if the Saracens are suppose to represent the Fatamids, the Seljuks, and the various dynasties of Syria and Iraq? And just out of curiosity – every time I go on the Studio Tomahawk Forum I get an internet explorer error. Do other people have this problem? |

Just a guess that the Saracens are the generic Islamic faction like the Crusaders are the generic Franks. I suspect Spanish and Moorish factions have a lot of across the isle allies. |

Thanks for the link, nochules. Apparently, the Mutatawwi battle board includes the Almoravids! They even get a special character. Coolness! Break out the black paint and watch El Cid. |

No dice with the rulebook. Nor do you get the battle boards for anything but the 6 Crusades era factions. But at least this is a stand-alone rulebook. |
