Hundvig Fezian is not a real big fan of pre-painted minis, and he positively despises randomly-packed "collectable" ones - so why is he writing this article?

hi guys
what color is the magic r550 air to air missile
I seen pictures of them painted white (early years?)
painted blue/grey? on mirage 2000
also painted red ,is this active missile or training color like sidewinder blue

Blue grey so as to reduce contrast with lo-vis camo. White is 60s and 70s, overall blue was training round (now also grey) and I am not certain about red but pretty confident it was inert.

Red/orange rounds are usually seen during trials, to make them more visible to observers watching the trial.
