It's anomalous, but I use Songs of Our Ancestors with 15mm figures. Sometimes I wish I did 25s, but 15s let you make big terrain easily. The interaction between armored tractors and infantry in Songs of Our Ancestors is really cool. |

I use Q13, and am going to use the Quar to fight the Martians from AQOTMF. |

Perhaps I'm utterly confused here but would you mind expanding a bit on these? 1.) Crusade and Loyalists 2.) Songs of our Ancestors 3.) Q13 Tell me about these rules as I've not seen them mentioned before |

Dragon6 I think from context: Crusade and Loyalist would be Crusader and Royalists, the 2 main factions for the Quar universe. Songs of Ancestors is a ruleset produced by Zombiesmith more info here link Q13 is possibly the quadrant 13 ruleset from two fat lardies info here. link HTH Soldado |

For Dragon6: This is the perfect intro into the Quar universo: YouTube link This are the main rules , and can be downloaded gratis from the page:
link The rules are for company-level games , although Quar companies tend to be rather small (they are basically WW1 reinforced platoons , with lots of extra firepower) . The platoon level rules are in Songs of our Ancestors (this one cannot be downloaded gratis , sorry) . link Q13 (or Quadrant 13) are the Sci-Fi rules (although easily adaptable for modern or WW2 , and perhaps also for WW1) for company level . I plan to use them for the Quar , both as WWW1/WWW2 , and for Sci-Fi games , using our dearest battle-aardvarks as low-tech mercenaries (remember that Quar in Khurasan´s Jasmine Throne foreign battalion!!)

My project for this summer: - 15mm Quar Infantry - All Quiet on the Martian Front steam tanks - Using some form of the Command & Color rules (Memoir 44, Battlecry, C&C Napoleonics) - Terrain made of 4" hexes (still trying to figure out if I'll use Kallistra, Terrain Maker, a mat, have hexes laser cut out of MDF or make everything myself) Have a look at my blog for more details about this project: link |

We also use Quar for our sci fi games and Tomorrow's War for rules. For our background, have a look at link |

Still waiting to get my other half (the Royalist company, another Baeliog, HMGs/HSGs/Field guns, and Royalist cavalry). But I'd be playing TQW in 15mm. I should probably get Songs of our Ancestors at some point, but I prefer larger skirmishes. |
