"At DVD 2014, the Defence Vehicle Dynamics Exhibition which was held from the 25 to 26 June 2014 in Millbrook, United Kingdom, Streit Group a world leader in the manufacturing of armoured vehicles presents its new Shrek RCV (Route Clearance Vehicle). The Shrek displayed at the DVD 2014 was painted white to emphasize that it can be used by UN peacekeeping forces for mine clearance in dangerous areas.

The Shrek RCV was developed jointly by Streit Group (Canada-UAE) and AutoKrAZ from Ukraine to offer a new concept of mine/IOD route clearance vehicle based on high-mobility truck chassis.

The Shrek One is a multirole off road Mine Protected Vehicle with V-hull mounted on the KrAZ 5233 4x4 chassis cab. This vehicle can be used for investigation in dangerous areas, detection and clearance of explosive devices…"
