Now to convince some quality manufacturer to do some figures like the Black French units, like the Chasseurs-Volontaires de Saint-Domingue. Sure, ordinary figures are "close enough" but I would love to see figures with the Negro faces and earrings, and of course plumes.
And some of the colonial units had no lapels. You can do Yorktown with full regiments, and Lauzun's Legion. But my bucket list is to do Savannah, with every stand of infantry being a company from a different regiment, the full scarlet and yellow Dillon, etc. The French army at Savannah could be the most colorful AWI army. link

The French had the Belzunce Dragoons at Savannah also. Pretty sexy uniform with brass helmets, green coat etc. I wonder if anyone makes a suitable figure for a 1779 French dragoon? |

The French army at Savannah could be the most colorful AWI army You could also consider Galves' Spanish and French command at Pensacola. Rick |
