Osprey guides are printed and electronic books on sale for less than a pound. These are actually the books of the Essential collection without illustrations but with their maps. They are available from this month. link

Five of these are currently available free for the Kindle on Amazon.com. (Not sure about UK). Titles covering the Crusades, 2 on the Napoleonic wars, WWI and Vietnam. You can find them under free History best sellers or by doing an advanced search for Osprey as publisher and sorting price low to high. Chris |
