Hi everyone;
Some months ago I heard about the original 1954 Godzilla being re-mastered and released this year.
Has it come out and can it be purchased?
Thanks
Joe

The wiki article only mentions the 2012 Criterion Collection release, so if it is planned to be released again, it most probably hasn't yet.

okay, maybe in the fall.
The reports said it would be this year on the 60th anniv.
Thanks Cherno.

Thanks for asking about this because it was news to me. I would love to see the original on the big screen.

They showed the original (with sub titles) at the Belcourt theatre last month. The real original. No Raymond Burr. I enjoyed seeing it on the big screen.
