Several years ago I purchased Star Wars monopoly and it had several of the cast figures in it. This past Christmas I recieved another copy but with different ones. I now have Luke, Leia, Han, Obi Wan, Darth each in two different poses, C3P0 and R2D2 but no Chewbaca. Was there a version that had this figure that I missed. Does anyone have an extra to trade? |

Who makes the game? You might be able to order replacement parts from them. PJ |

Yes there was in the very first edition of the game, there have been several. The first had Luke, Leia, Chewbaca, R2-D2, C-3PO, Vader, Boba Fett, and a storm trooper. |

Arg I missed it. Anyone with an extra care to trade? |

The edition you're looking for was limited and numbered. I doubt you find someone willing to trade just the figure, but the edition was produced in enough quantities that you can probably find in online somewhere for relatively cheap. |

I have the first edition (not interested in trading, though. Sorry.). I wrote some alternative rules for it, as the whole "real estate trading in the Star Wars universe" sounded only slightly less boring than regular old monopoly, and totally out of character with the setting. I abandoned real estate altogether and made it a game revolving around the characters' different goals (based on the movie trilogy), i.e., Luke wants to rescue Leia, defeat Darth Vader and Destroy the Death Star and must complete these goals to win; Han wants to amass credits (to pay Jabba); Bobba Fett wants to capture Han, etc. I included rules for character combat, capturing/destroying/fortifying spaces, the Force, etc. Never playtested it, though. If anyone's interested, post here and I'll see if I can dig 'em up. |

Try: link The US site does not have a star wars re order form but the Canadian does. Fill it out with a note saying what you want and I'm betting they will send it to you for the $1.50. PJ |

Wow that link was perfect. Thanks! Dealing in Canadian dollars too it shouldn't cost that much. |

The Star Wars Monopoly set that I got several years ago simply had the old 25mm West End Games (?!) figures but cast in pewter. In fact I only got it because it had a Han Solo from Star Wars in it & I hadn't been able to get him in lead. Sad - yes. Expensive - yes at £20 for a single 25mm figure. Still haven't played it either. |

I have the Limited Collectors edtion of Star Wars Monopoly. The game board is dated and numbered. Mine is 04/12/97 and the number is 6045. The hotels are star destroyers or millenium falcolns! The houses are either tie fighters or X-wings. It even has coins for 1000, er, credits? 5 of them for the really poncy player whose a budding billionaire. My favorite card has a picture of a menacing stormtrooper and reads "Shuttle directly TO JAIL, do not pass go, do not collect ($) 200", change the ($) to the Imperial symbol for money. If anyone wants to make a deal on it they can contact me off line. pmancini at yahoo.com |

I saw this in Toys UR US this week while looking for board games I thought my granddaughter might like. Is it any fun to play, considering I would have to play with her? There were several different kinds of Monopoly other than the original and I don't know anything about the new ones. Any comments would be appreciated. Sharron thelondonwarroom.com |

The various Monopoly versions are just the same old Monopoly with a specific theme. |

The Simpsons Monopoly plays exactly like the original, only with new names for the various proerties. It's much more fun to buy Burns Manor than Park Place. The most satisfying monoply is getting The Gilded Truffle, The Frying Dutchman and The Happy Sumo. My wife and I were considering decorating our spare room floor with a huge monopoly board and upscaling all the pieces to fit. We were going to theme it off of our alma mater, Southern Illinos University. Go salukis! |
