I'm finally to the point in both my modeling/painting skills and attention to detail that I'm looking to add stowage and commanders machine guns to my tanks and APCs. I already have some stowage from Rebel Minis and some more from Brigade games on the way, but what I'm really looking for now is backpacks and tarps. Yes I know I can make tarps from greenstuff, but if I can get a good variety for a decent amount I'd be willing to pay, especially if I'm just adding it on to another order. Plus I don't want ALL of my stowage to look the same so jerry cans and ammo boxes from a third manufacturer would be cool, plus some tires, tank treads and sand bags would be cool. I've also noticed a lack of pintle mounted commanders/loaders/whoever's machine guns sold separately. I know brigade is coming out with some but who knows when that will actually be and, again, I don't want every tank I make to have the SAME machine gun.

I did 20-30 minutes of goggling last night and all that came up was the stuff I already have or complete kits, not separate stowage. I'm fine with stuff made for WWII, A backpack is a backpack.

Any recommendations?

I make that stuff. The store will be back online next week.

lol, replies from two companies I already wanted to order from!

Khurasan: do you do weapons? .30 and .50 equivalent machine guns?

Mike: are you a VAT registered company? Or will I be paying the full sticker price? The Gatling guns you have are just too big for my tanks, frankly they're as big as most of the main guns. I've ordered from you before and really liked the stuff so I'm glad you make what I need! those tarps are perfect and more then worth the price in comparison to an hour or two of making my own.

No not Vat registered.

There is also a RUMV cupola and accompanying pintle-mounted weapons from Rebel.

Mike: they're cheap enough without the discount, just nice to save a little more. I wish I had looked harder when you had your sale a little while ago!

GZG has some items:

Could do with pictures of them though. Think get most of them somewhere (now which ruddy box did I put them in?).

^ jeez would it kill GZG to show photos? Buying minis from a list of vague text descriptions is so 1978.

The two green cass on top of the 'monster truck' technicals and the pair of racked jerry cans on the rear of one of them.

Excellent they are too.

Greenstuff tarps, btw (unpainted in the first shot, ink washed in the second)

Combat Wombat has some too. It's not pictured on his site and if you ask he has them cheap (darn i say they were next to nothing on my last order from him)

If you're looking for 0.30 & 0.50 MGs then Peter Pig carries them in their WWII & AK 47 ranges. ( link peterpig.co.uk/us.htm range 8, pack 74, no pic) There are also tank stowage sets from Skytrex link and Battlefront link , which although intended for WWII era vehicles, include more universally applicable items. There are no doubt others too.

I'll second Peter pig for the .30's and .50's.

And if you want an automatic Grenade launcher like the Mk19/Mk47, cut the cast-on barrel off a .50cal MG and replace with a short length of 1.5mm or 2mm brass rod.

But aside from the .50cal or Mk19 choice, why wouldn't all tanks from the same nation have the same MGs on the pintles? Unless you want some of them to have a remote weapons station and some manned?

There's a great remote weapons station with AutoGL in the Rebel Minis sets, BTW. The MATV gun turret comes with a .50cal and gun shield, and then the RWS. So ordering a bunch of those is getting tempting. I think I'm going to use the two Rebel RWS I have from buying MATVs on two of my QRF Strykers.

I have three nations worth of tanks in my Tomorrow's War army. I don't want everything on ALL my vehicles to be identically.
