Does anyone know how I can reach Jeff Koppe who wrote the ancient naval rules 'Oceanus Strategoi'? I like the look of his rules but can't download them from his web-site. Thanks.

There's an email address on the pdf which is dated to 2012 but internet etiquette precludes mentioning it here.

The pdf is reported as corrupted when it is downloaded but it may be possible to print the 10 pages of rules, 1 page player aid and 8 pages of ship record sheets from here.

If you download a pdf and then it won't open because it's corrupt try opening with a programme that modifies pdf's (e.g. pdfxviewer which is a free download I believe)…..it's worked in the past for me.

If you can deal with some font substitution and know how to do some formatting, opening PDFs in Adobe Illustrator can be useful.

Furthermore, Photoshop can do the same thing, on a page-by-page basis. You'll have to deal with raster images (vs. editable vector images if you choose Illustrator), but can still get good results.
