In this episode I open and analyze the contents of a 72 piece bucket of fantasy miniatures. I talk about them and paint a few.

Snagged one myself a few months ago. Finding plastic 54mm fantasy is almost unheard of.

Nice review, thanks Dave!

Thanks a lot. The review was very helpful.

How tall are the figures? You might have solved my difficulty finding larger greek and norse gods for Of Gods And Mortals.

I especially loved your commentary. I'll definately make sure to use Durpy the Dragon in my games.

Cloudcaptain, while definately not as cheap as these, there's a line of 54mmish plastic figures from russia that i see a lot on ebay. They make sets of 5 figures, fantasy, scifi, & historical, which are about $13 USDUS with shipping. The company also makes plastic castles.

I bought a set of orcs. They are pretty good, but their weapons are pretty thin and bendy, so would probably need replacing. But was thinking they might work well with the bugbears in this new plastic set.

I would say they are scaled to 54mm. I stand a few of them up next to a 28mm orc from Heroquest near the end of the video to give them some scale.

Thanks BC! Got some of those too actually. Orcs and
dwarves to be exact (and the necromunda looking guys). I am going to convert some ancients figs too…using animals heads from Dollar Tree.
