The Final Schedule for "The Weekend" has been finalized (almost). We have one or two more games to come but this is the general list. The convention is being held at the Continental Inn, 2285 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster PA (right across the street from the Lancaster Host.

There is no charge to attend the convention if you are staying at the Continental, otherwise we ask for a $10 USD donation for equity.

EVENTS( not games)
1. Kickoff Dinner Thursday Night in the "La Fleur" Restaurant, choice of grilled steak, Chicken Marsala, Miso glazed salmon, Soup salad beggies desert etc.

2. There will be Wives Safari during the days for those who do not attend to go around and sample the antique stores, Amish outlets and other shopping delights.

3. There is an "Off the Table Modelling Contest" and an "Off the Table" Painting contest for attendees to vote on the entries to win first place $25 USD, second place $15 USD, and third place $10 USD in each contest. These contests are not for finished dioramas or master paintjobs, but creations which are "cool" and have "presence" and actually are used in a war game. Attendees who bring games to put on can enter their stuff right off the table.

4. There will be a symposium, and of course the ever popular munchies pit stocked with beer, soda, wine, and refreshments.

GAMES ARE

The "theme" as any of these things can really have a theme is "The Ancient World: Honey I sacrificed the kids!"

1. Pharonic Veronica versus Schlockem and Glockamora, an ancient game in 15mm versus sort of Old Kingdom Egyptians versus Assyro Babylonian figures. This will be a pick up game and set up constantly for playes, two three, as many as wish to play as they wish. Very simple rules. Lotsa fun.

2. Gladiatorial Games from Ancient Rome. By Mack Tuck.

3. A Saga Event with all sorts of armies pledged. by Ralph Krebs.

4. Siege of Alesia, by Mark Zaslavsky. A huge model of Alesia, lots of romans, siege rules, assaults and man many Barbarians. The Gaul… The Gaul of them.

5. The Battle of Abubu Clay by Bob and Cleo Liebl Another vast colonial game of the Soudanese versus the British. Lots of miniatures lots more of Sudanese. Bob an Cleo said it would have something to do with Cookies. I don't know what or how but they promised cookies. If you've ever had the cookies they bring you will know why their games are so popular.

6. Battle of Bumbinnen by George Garifo. One of the great actions from the very start of World War One.

7. Conquistadors of Space, a grand interstellar space game put on by Gary Richards. Whole worlds, space fleets and lots of wild action. May the farce be with you!

8. Two Napoleonic Battles each one by Frank Caportorto and another by Alex Hawkins.

9. The Battle of Marzipano , Renaissance fight between the Swiss and the Landsknechts.

10. "Down at the Farm" A Zombie smashing bash by Jim McWee.

11. Ancient Civilization, by Tracy Johnson. All the boards, all the cards, all the tokens, all players who are rather ummm rambunctious. This game will be given AFTER the Kickoff Dinner and can be played on Friday as well. If Tracy wishes he may substitute another game for the Friday slot

12. Frederick the Great Invades Candyland by Mike Lorenzo. Lo what horror doeth approach. Mike is bringing in his huge seven years war armies to see Frederick fight over an adaptation of the "Candyland: boards. In envy next year Mark Zaslavsky is threatening to do "The Chutes and Ladders of Stalingrad."

13. With Two you get Port Arthur!" Victorian Science fiction by Ralph Krebs here on earth as the futuristic 19th centuries armies battle it out in China.

14. What's Next Mr. Leonardo" by Peter Frechtling. Another Renaissance game, this time with the tanks, flyers, ground rockets and wild inventions of Mr. Leonardo on the battlefield.

15. There will be an open Board gaming table with Tod Raffensperger planning to run among others, the WWI version of Axis and Allies.

16. Two more Napoleonic battles by Franka nd Alex.

17. Russo Japanese War "The Battle of Telissu." by Col. Bill Gray, a wonderfully large game, visually striking and with lots of challenging play.

18. Depending on Audience desire, either "Jayne's Frightening Ships" a new naval system for WWII gaming, the ship models require no ship cards and the "stats" are based on commission date and class.

or

"Morning Noon and Night in Vienna" a game of spying, buying, intrigue, and seduction in Vienna of the 1880's.

There are still open slots if you want to play a game or put on one just contact
