Does anyone know if the US Army uses(ed) the CATERPILLAR D5G XL Track-type Tractor and 420E Backhoe Loader? And if so what color and markings?

I know they use the D9R, link

I see a few Norscot scale models of the one you are looking for, link they seem to be done up in the normal CAT colors though…

Thanks Ravenseye. Those are the ones I have in my collection. I was wondering they could be used as military versions grin.

D5? No, I think the *smallest* Cat in the Army inventory is a D7.

Thanks monongahela. Looks like no D5G XL Track-type Tractors. But yes to using 420E Backhoe Loaders currently.
