Ive been meaning to post these

My original plan was to give them decals on the shields, but I liked the way the bronze was looking, so I went with it.

Thanks for looking!

Those are 15mm, right? Better than some of my 28mm. :)

Very nice work! Ive been re examining some Xyston Spartans I bought a dogs age ago. This makes me want to have a go at them.

Did you make the spears or buy them?

Thanks very much! ugh! I just saw some 'brown' at the top of one of the spears…I need to fix that!

They are purchased, from Xyston too I believe…

Carthaginian rather than Theban?

Excellent work – the plain bronze shields are impressive and 'right' for the unit.

Why the long shirts?? These look like Carthage not Thebes. But otherwise nice.

JJ, the OP never mentioned Thebes….

They are a great looking Carthaginian Sacred Band. Very nicely painted and well based.
