Just wrote about the 2014 Fleet Review over on The Poetry of the Symphonic. I did something a little novel this year and made some stop-motion video with some of my models. It's not perfect, but I'm fairly happy with the results. The stop motion stuff is included in a larger video I've posted over on youtube. The stop motion is mostly in the second half of the video, with the earlier half being primarily aerial pans around the fleet. |

Thank you. It was fun to make the videos. (And the miniatures.) |

You're fleet is so impressive, you don't really need to do anything with it. But since you did, the stop motion is fine! :O) |

Well, I've done the fleet review for four years now, so I need to do something new to make it interesting. Otherwise it looks pretty much the same as last year's. (What's another couple dozen ships between friends?) I think next year the arrangement will be different. Maybe there will also be more city next year. Maybe. Thank you. I appreciate it. |

A bit of city would look really good, although what you have in the background of this year's fleet review is perfect for the IJN. I must say your 1/2400 scale ships are really class looking, although I'm more 1/1200-1/1250 myself. |

I thought about 1/1200 when I first got into naval wargaming. I can very definitely see the temptation, but budge and space considerations put me on the side of 1/2400. That said, I'm sure I'd be happy to play a game with you using your miniatures if I'm on the correct side of the Atlantic anytime soon. Thank you. Glad you liked them. I assure you that more city is on the horizon. Along with lots of other things rather crowding up the view. |
