OK, so that *is* from the same PSC Panzer 3 kit you've been working on. Nice! Now, when did Pz3Js start showing up again? 1941? Excellent, my DAK just found their armor supplier! |

Now, when did Pz3Js start showing up again? 1941? They started making them in May 1941, switched to the long gun in December that year. Most of the initial production went to 2nd & 5th Panzer, which lost all their tanks after Greece.* I'm not sure when they would have first appeared in North Africa. * – there wasn't enough rolling stock in Greece to ship them north, so they sent the tanks by sea to Italy. On the way, they ran into a British mine field, thereby proving that the Brits' best AT weapon early in the war was the Royal Navy. The usual excellent work, Piers. |
